Assured Destruction by Michael F. Stewart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Since the plot has already been repeated several times by other reviewers, I think I’ll share my thoughts on Janus herself.
I had a hard time warming up to her initially. To be honest, I was rolling my eyes in exasperation at her decisions - to keep the hard drives instead of destroying them, to make sock puppet accounts based on real people, making and sharing mean photo-edits of her “friends…” For the first half of the book, I was pretty much shaking my head and whispering “Janus, no.”
Yes, yes, I would advise warming up to me!
Hahahahaha — take that Putin you putz.
"J. K. Rowling’s admission that Hermione Granger should not have ended up with Ron Weasley at the end of the Harry Potter series has sent shock waves through the lives of people heavily invested in the lives of fictional adolescent wizards.” Artsbeat
Yeah—that would be me.
